kitsunagu is a free, curated directory of legal professionals in Japan, intended to help the international community find English-capable lawyers and law firms. Listings are compiled and verified for general informational purposes. The Service is free to use and does not require an account.

kitsunagu is a directory, not a law firm, and does not provide legal advice. Information on the Service is for general informational purposes only and is not a substitute for advice from a qualified lawyer.

Using the Service, viewing a listing, or contacting a firm through information found here does not create an attorney–client relationship between you and kitsunagu. Any attorney–client relationship is solely between you and the professional you engage.

We make reasonable efforts to keep listings accurate and to verify that listed firms are registered with a Japanese bar association and offer English-language support. However, we do not guarantee that any listing is complete, current, or error-free. Details such as practice areas, languages, contact information, and credentials may change. You should independently verify a professional’s qualifications and suitability before engaging them.

Inclusion of a firm in the directory is not an endorsement, recommendation, or guarantee of the quality of their services. kitsunagu is not responsible for the services provided by any listed professional and is not a party to any agreement you enter into with them.

You agree to use the Service only for lawful purposes. You may not scrape, harvest, or bulk-download data from the Service by automated means, attempt to disrupt or gain unauthorized access to the Service, or use it to send unsolicited communications. We may restrict or suspend access for misuse.

The Service’s design, text, and original content are owned by kitsunagu and protected by applicable laws. Firm names, logos, and trademarks belong to their respective owners and are used for identification only. You may not reproduce substantial portions of the Service without permission.

The Service contains links to third-party websites, including those of listed firms. We do not control and are not responsible for the content, accuracy, or practices of any third-party site. Visiting a linked site is at your own risk and subject to that site’s terms.

The Service is provided “as is” and “as available,” without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including fitness for a particular purpose and non-infringement. We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, secure, or error-free.

These Terms are governed by the laws of Japan, without regard to conflict-of-laws principles. Any disputes arising from these Terms or the Service shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Japan.
